Lunch is a great time for Squirt and I. Usually I'm relaxed (not working) and enjoying a lovely meal, finished off with some sort of sweet.
Then I wait.
Within a few minutes, Squirt is up and moving. Fun to feel from both the inside and now the outside. But today was different. The kicks are becoming progressively stronger - and today, strong enough to see!! Wow- weird and awesome all at the same time. Couldn't see anything distinct, just my belly moving.
Now if Squirt could please put on a good show this weekend for my family, that would be great!
SO fun! Isn't it an awesome feeling? Enjoy it now before Squirt's kicks become so strong that it hurts. Such an awesome adventure and I'm so happy for you. Has your husband had the "Oh-my-gosh-that-feels-like-an-alien" moment with his hand on your tummy yet?
ReplyDeleteI still haven't felt Norman Jr. move, but I am (im)patiently waiting!!! :) I can't wait to see your baby belly on Sunday!
ReplyDeleteAnna - it is an awesome feeling, makes it feel real. Joel definitely had the "alien" moment - screamed like he'd seen a ghost! :)
ReplyDeleteBecky - you will feel it... I think I was 18 weeks or something (I'd have to go back and look), but it's much much stronger now.
I know - I'll be in line right behind Becky! I'd shove her aside, but I don't think it's smart to mess with pregnant women....
ReplyDeleteKatie that is a great idea to make freezer meals but just keep in mind what you are cooking and if you are going to breastfeed. Like I couldn't really eat lasagna because all of the dairy would make Haley and Cara really fussy. So just a heads up!
ReplyDeleteBy the way you look fantastic and I wish we were able to see you at Melinda's wedding but we are so excited for you guys!
